Tax Manager About the Role & Organization - Tax Manager CFS New
York is working with a stable professional services organization
looking for a Tax Manager to join their team! This is a hybrid role
(2 days in office) working out of their Midtown, Manhattan office.
The organization focuses on business planning, advisory and
compliance services for wealthy families and generational wealth
planning. They host breakfasts, lunches, happy hours, birthday
celebrations and charity events as well! They are a very close-knit
team with great benefits. Role Responsibilities - Tax Manager
Review tax procedures, engagement workpapers and financial
statements Address questions on advanced technical accounting
matters from team members and upper level client management Oversee
staff while coordinating the day-to-day duties of planning, tax
work, and wrap-up Communicate with Partner on work status and
client issues that arise Conduct research, consult with team
members, draw conclusions and prepare memos based on target issues
Top review of returns, workpapers, and issues Supervise, train and
mentors tax staff Preferred Qualifications - Tax Manager 10 years
of hands-on tax experience CPA or Enrolled Agent Advanced knowledge
of applicable accounting software (e.g. ProSystem Tax, Engagement,
etc.) Public accounting background is a plus Prior experience
working with high-net-worth individuals is a plus Experience with
CCH Tax software is a plus
