Job Description:
NorthCoast Asset Management is a data-driven investment firm
specializing in dynamic, risk-managed equity and income strategies
for high-net-worth investors and financial advisors. With more than

environments. The firm is headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut
and operates as a part of the Focus Financial network. NorthCoast
Asset Management, a Division of Kovitz Investment Group, is looking
for an Operations Associate to join our team. Based in our
Stamford, CT office, the Operations Associate is responsible for
NCAM operational billing and financial reporting functions. This
role will report directly to the Senior Vice President of
Operations and Compliance. Primary responsibilities include daily
reconciliation of 6000 accounts, daily/quarterly valuation,
performance reporting, billing, assessing, and supporting
infrastructure needs and supporting trader’s daily activities.
Primary Responsibilities Reconciling equity and option positions,
cash, and transactions for all custodians Troubleshooting system,
custodial and client operational issues Tabulating and reporting
high risk items to management through daily, weekly and monthly
operational risk reporting Research and resolve breaks by
interfacing trading staff and external parties. Research and
resolve client and strategy performance reporting issues.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
but not required. A positive attitude and high energy level
Proactive communication and follow-up. Excellent verbal and written
communication skills Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Strong attention
to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and sometimes
stressful environment Experience in the financial services industry
a plus Beginner-level Python and/or VBA knowledge is a plus
Previous experience with portfolio accounting systems preferably
SS&C Technologies Global Wealth Platform (GWP) is a plus. The
annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between
$55,000-$70,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors
including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise,
geographic location where work will be performed, and the
applicants skill set. The base pay is just one component of the
total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include
an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. LI-JS1
