Trust & Estates Attorney - New York What You'll Do: As a Trust & Estates Attorney in our New York office, you will play a pivotal role in our firm's estate planning and administration practice. Your key responsibilities will include: Complex Estate Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive estate plans for high-net-worth individuals and families. Provide asset protection planning and strategies. Trusts & Estates Administration: Administer trusts and estates, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Manage all aspects of probate and trust administration, including preparing and reviewing documents, filings, and reports. Client Consultation and Representation: Advise clients on estate, gift, and income tax matters. Represent clients in estate-related disputes and litigation. Collaborative Work: Work closely with other attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional client service. Participate in business development activities to expand the firm's client base. What You'll Bring: Experience: 5 years of experience in complex estate planning, asset protection planning, and trusts & estates administration. Experience in business is a plus but not required. Qualifications: LLM in Taxation or CPA. Admission to the New York Bar. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Benefits: Heavily subsidized health insurance premiums.
