Women's Basketball Head Coach/Transportation & Travel LiaisonThe OpportunityLesley University is seeking a Women's Basketball Head Coach/Transportation & Travel Liaison. Under the supervision of the Director of Athletics, the Women's Basketball Head Coach will lead the operations, management, coaching and cultivation of a competitive and successful Division III Basketball program while fostering an environment that contributes towards a positive student-athlete experience. Lesley University is an NCAA Division III institution and a member of the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) with 14 varsity programs, and over 150 athletes. In addition to coaching responsibilities, this role will support the athletics department with its travel and transportation logistics throughout the year.The Head Coach/Transportation & Travel Liaison will lead the planning, management, and coordination of all aspects of the basketball program, including the oversite and hiring of Assistant Coaches. Responsibilities include organizing practices, supporting all relevant recruitment and fundraising activities, and overseeing the academic success of student-athletes. They will maintain proper and appropriate discipline among students during athletic contests, practice sessions, and while off campus. Additionally this role will manage all internal and external travel bookings with contracted vendor(s), coordinating with Head Coaches to align with game and practice schedules as necessary. The Head Coach/Transportation & Travel Liaison will serve as Lesley University Athletics' main point of contact with contracted vendor(s), troubleshooting reservations, cancellations, bookings or any issues regarding Athletic Department travel as they arise.The Head Coach/Transportation & Travel Liaison must comply with all policies established by federal and state laws, Lesley University, North Atlantic Conference (NAC) and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA Division III) policies and procedures.
