Year Up is seeking a Project Management Training Program Instructor to join our dedicated team in empowering young adults to succeed in their careers. As a nonprofit focused on bridging the opportunity divide, Year Up offers a unique environment where the chosen candidate will facilitate project management courses. The instructor will design curricula reflecting real-world demands, guide students through interactive lessons and ensure they are equipped with PM skills to excel in corporate environments. Develop and update comprehensive project management curriculum aligning with industry standards. Conduct engaging classroom and online sessions for varied student groups. Guide students in practical project management tools and methodologies. Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with corporate partners to align course content with market needs. Facilitate student mastery of PM software like MS Project and Asana. Strong understanding of PM frameworks (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, SCRUM). Proficient in PM tools (MS Project, Asana, Trello). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Adept at curriculum development and adult learning principles. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
