Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An opportunity is available for a full-time Special
Education Teacher specializing in Pre-School and Pre-K programs
within a school setting in Rutland, VT. This contract position
starts ASAP with the possibility of renewal, supporting high school
students with special needs. Key responsibilities include:
Delivering specialized instruction to roughly five high school
students, each supported by a dedicated 1:1 paraeducator.
Facilitating classroom learning during the first half of the day
with tailored special education techniques. Assisting students in
community-based job sites during the second half of the day,
providing guidance and support to enhance their vocational skills.
Collaborating with paraeducators to customize educational plans
that promote student growth and independence. Maintaining accurate
documentation of student progress and participation in both
classroom and community environments. Qualifications and desired
experience: Certified Special Education Teacher credential.
Experience working with Pre-School and Pre-K students, as well as
high school-aged learners with special needs. Strong ability to
manage a small caseload and coordinate with paraeducators.
Enthusiasm for community-based education and supporting vocational
development. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Compensation for this position ranges from $21.93 to $47.93.
