At a Glance Company: Bristol Precision Location: Marlborough, MA (On-site) Job Type: Full-Time Pay Range: $35 – $45 per hour (based on experience) Shift: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Overtime: Optional Saturdays | 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM Experience Level: Senior / Lead-Level (5 years preferred) Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (ITAR environment) Why This Role Exists Bristol Precision continues to grow its prototype and small-batch aerospace, medical, and scientific programs. This Lead CNC Mill Machinist role exists to strengthen setup consistency, improve daily execution, and support the development of the milling team. This is a hands-on leadership position in a certified, high-precision environment where quality and accountability matter. What You’ll Be Doing Set up and run complex CNC milling jobs in a high-mix, tight-tolerance environment Work from Mastercam programs and make edits at the machine as needed Select tooling, set offsets, and verify workholding Perform first-article and in-process inspections Troubleshoot machining issues to maintain workflow Lead daily workflow for setup machinists and operators Train and mentor team members on setup efficiency and quality standards Promote standardized, repeatable setups Coordinate closely with production leadership This is not a desk role — you’ll be leading from the floor.
