table for you...Position Summary:Manages a team of Regional Program
Sales People, focused on aligning support and resources to key
strategic regional program customers. Develops executive-level
strategic relationships with a select number of key program
customers with a focus on achieving significant long-term,
sustained and measurable business results. Provides coaching and
leadership to account team. Utilizes strategic planning in
collaboration with Commercial Regional & Market Sales Managers and
Director to achieve region sales goals. Develop and monitor key
performance indicators and team member professional development.
Oversee and provide direction to enhance relationships and growth
opportunities with existing customers and prospects.Essential
Functions:Regional/Customer Management
- Develops long-term, strategic relationships with key program
accounts within their team's portfolio of business
- Interacts frequently with external customers to provide an
exchange of information.
- Builds long-term customer relationships at a Regional level
while meeting short-term objectives.
- Utilizes and applies customer profitability and pricing models
to negotiate customer agreements.
- Participates in selected annual business reviews with key
program accounts to review and set accurate goals for the coming
year.
- Sets the case, product, segment, Annual Operating Plan (AOP),
credit, and net profit goals with input from the region team to
include developing action plans for achieving GFS corporate
goals.
- Manages the Regions AOP to meet the needs of the company by
being fiscally responsible with the assets assigned to the
region.Team Management
- Interviews, hires, trains, and retains staff. Conducts
performance monitoring of staff, initiating follow through with
disciplinary action and termination in consultation with Human
Resources when appropriate. Mentors, motivates, and develops staff
and serves as a role model and resource.
- Leads team to develop program customer account plans to
include: customer and GFS objectives and implementation strategies
and promotion of the customers' and GFS' stated values and
positions.
- Holds the team accountable for regional program business
results. Reviews outcomes of meetings and action plans that are
created to meet objectives.
- Leads team in defining best practices and provides consistent
support to internal and external customers.Other
- Creates and reviews monthly reports, ensuring timely submittal
with the intent of updating the management team on current
activities within the region.
- Collaborates within Sales and across other departments (eg.
Transportation, Marketing, Credit, etc.) to ensure efficient
operations and consistent, high-level customer satisfaction.
- Performs other duties as assigned.What you'll bring to the

- Must be a strategic thinker in order to build relationships,
network, and link resources to plan and execute business
practices.
- Must be able to develop profitability models and other
analytical tools.
- Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, email
and internet software applications.
- Valid driver's license required
- Five or more years of progressive sales or business experience
required; previous supervisory experience preferred or an
equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.BE
