Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Operating Room RN for a contract-to-perm assignment at a prestigious surgery center in Hamden, CT. /n Job Function: /n - Day Shift. /n - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. /n - Position patients and adjust equipment to capture high-quality images as directed by physicians. /n /n - Set up, operate, and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols. /n /n - Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, both physically and emotionally. /n /n - Follow strict radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure for patients and staff. /n /n - Assess procedural conditions and equipment functionality to support accurate diagnostics. /n /n /n /n - /n /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). /n /n - Active RN license in the state of practice. /n /n - 2 years of OR experience. /n /n - BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association. /n /n /n Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
