Job Description:

New York Home Care in partnership with ABA Center of Jersey City is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral therapy and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing tailored treatment plans, and implementing effective behavioral interventions. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient goals. Implement and monitor behavioral interventions, ensuring adherence to best practices in behavioral health. Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and family members, to provide holistic care. Provide training and support to staff on behavioral strategies and interventions. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Stay updated on current research and best practices in the field of behavior analysis. Requirements Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and special education principles. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques and patient assessment methodologies. Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to patient behavior. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and team members. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care while fostering a supportive environment.
