This position offers an excellent mix of outpatient and inpatient consultative work in a collaborative, well-supported environment with a strong APP and hospitalist infrastructure. Position Highlights:Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Setting: Primarily outpatient, with inpatient consults only Patient Volume: - Physicians see 15–18 patients per day (option for higher volume if desired) - APPs see 10–12 patients per day Inpatient Coverage: - Average hospital census: 20–30 patients daily - 1:5 call rotation (transitioning to 1:7 as recruitment expands) - Hospitalists handle admissions and inpatient APPs manage follow-up care Afterhours Call: One weeknight block every 5 weeks Weekend Call: Friday–Sunday every 5 weeks EMR: Epic Compensation & Benefits:Guaranteed Annual Base Salary: - $550,000–$600,000 (Years 1–2) - $650,000 (Years 3–5) WRVU Productivity Model (beginning after guaranteed period) Quality Bonus Program available Signing Bonus and Relocation Assistance Education Loan Repayment Opportunity 5-Year Contract with Stable Base Guarantee Comprehensive Benefits Package including Health, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Retirement CME Allowance: $5,000 annually Paid Malpractice Coverage with Tail Practice Environment:Collaborative multidisciplinary cancer care model Dedicated inpatient APP support to minimize physician call burden Robust referral network across multiple hospital campuses Modern infusion suites and comprehensive oncology services About the Community: Located in New York’s Capital Region, Albany offers a vibrant blend of urban sophistication and natural beauty.
