Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leader in healthcare innovation and
education, is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse II to join our
dedicated team. This role requires a commitment to providing the
highest level of care where clinical excellence and compassion
meet. Offering a full-time schedule, this position operates during
the day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. As a Clinical Nurse II, you
will play a critical role in our ongoing mission to educate the
next generation of healthcare providers and to deliver cutting-edge
patient care supported by our leading biomedical research. Provide
direct nursing care in accordance with established policies,
procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Perform
comprehensive patient assessments and formulate appropriate nursing
diagnoses. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and
monitor responses. Coordinate with healthcare team members to
assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Maintain
accurate patient records and prepare reports on patients' status.
Communicate with patients and their families to explain conditions
and treatments. High level of proficiency in patient assessment and
treatment Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize patient
needs Strong interpersonal and communication skills Capability to
work as part of a team and collaborate with other healthcare
