Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system renowned for

sophisticated patient care, is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse
III for our Vascular Surgery C5 unit. This part-time night position
offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a specialty team
focused on delivering exceptional care to patients undergoing
vascular surgeries. The successful candidate will join a dynamic
team, utilizing the latest in medical technologies and practices to
enhance patient outcomes. Provide direct patient care to
individuals undergoing vascular surgical procedures. Monitor
patient health and recovery, adjusting care plans based on patient
needs and doctor's orders. Collaborate with vascular surgeons,
anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver
comprehensive care. Educate patients and their families about
post-surgical care and lifestyle adjustments. Maintain accurate
patient records and ensure confidentiality. Participate in ongoing
education and professional development related to vascular health
and surgery. Proficiency in utilizing advanced medical equipment
related to vascular surgery. Strong interpersonal and communication
skills. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
In-depth knowledge of vascular diseases and surgical care
requirements. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
