Position TravelNurseSource is working with Mindlance Health to find
a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Saratoga Springs, New York,

Description: ICU nights: looking for someone to stay through
summer. have 3 years of current ICU experienceAble to float within
skill set at managers discretionNY License in hand*BLSACLSNIHNurse
must be to read rhythms and must pass a hospital proctored test
that requires >80% accuracy in rhythm identification and 100%
accuracy in identifying critical rhythms*Epic-charting expFlu
Vaccine or exemptionRatio: 1:2-3LOCAL RULE: 50 milesAs you know,
since October we have limited our travelers to those coming from
outside of a 50-mile radius from Saratoga. The Albany Health System
is now moving forward with a more easy to determine limit, by
county. So, effective immediately we will not be signing new
contracts with travelling nurses whose listed primary residence is
in any of the following counties. This will likely impact
extensions as well, but let s take that on a case-by-case basis.

accepted with permanent address within 50 miles. Candidates will
float within the hospital as needed within the skill set. Perm
Staff and Albany Medical Center Perm Staff must be gone for a year
before returning as a traveler. EKG P/F EXAM: ED, ICU, Cath LAB,
D1(MS/TELE), and Urgent Care: Travelers will be required to
complete Relias EKG exam 72 hours after signing and pass with 100%
score. This is to ensure they are prepared to pass the onsite EKG
exam required to have at least an 85% score and identify 100% of
critical rhythms in order to pass. Traveler may be offered a retest
if overall score is above 80% and below 85%, so long as all
critical rhythms are identified, and they complete remediation
through the Clinical Remediation team. This will be at the facility
s discretion. Modules: Modules are non-billable Allied: average
10-12 hours RN: average 12-15 hours All Healthstream modules
(except TB Testing , Orientation Checklist , and POLICY: Care of
the Stroke Patient) must be complete by the 7 a.m. on the Wednesday
prior to start. Failure to complete will result in the candidate
being turned away from orientation. Modules will take several hours
