Job Description Job Type – Full Time Schedule – Days Pay – Depends on Experience Patients Per Day – 16-18 EMR System - Proprietary Work Location – Clinic Job ID –51235 Job Description An East Boston based clinic is seeking a motivated and compassionate Urgent Care Physician to join a collaborative, outpatient interdisciplinary practice. Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome to apply. Candidates should value practicing evidence-based medicine and should be comfortable treating children. This role involves collaboration with other staff members and leading mid-level providers and nursing staff. Required Qualifications - MA medical license as an MD or DO - Completion of an approved residency program - Board certification in primary care - MA DEA certificate before start date - CPR certification Responsibilities - Provide direct primary care and ambulatory outpatient care to clinic patients - Provide in-service training to clinic staff to increase staff awareness and to facilitate better patient care - Participate in the development of clinic protocols and procedures to ensure quality medical care - Participate in utilization and peer review programs which evaluates the quality of the medical staff and medical services being performed at the clinics - Provide supervision and consultation to physician assistants and nurse practitioners - Provide consultation services to practitioners by telephone accessibility as necessary About Provider Healthcare Provider Healthcare is a prominent healthcare recruitment firm that places highly qualified and skilled healthcare professionals in excellent employment opportunities across the country.
