Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system known for

comprehensive patient care, is looking for a dedicated Clinical
Nurse II to join our Adult Emergency Department team. This position
will primarily cover night shifts for 36 hours per week. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality direct and
indirect patient care to our diverse patient population following
established standards and practices. As part of our committed team,
you will play a key role in upholding the center's reputation for
excellence in healthcare and nursing practice. Assess, plan,
implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Emergency
Department. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team
members. Safely administer medications and monitor patient
responses. Promptly and effectively communicate patient condition
changes to appropriate team members. Maintain a safe, comfortable,
and therapeutic environment for patients and staff. Document
patient care services by charting and using electronic records.
Educate patients and families on health care needs, conditions, and
options. Strong clinical skills in an emergency care environment
Ability to handle a high-stress, fast-paced setting Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in electronic
medical record (EMR) systems Ability to work as part of a team and
independently Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Current registered nurse (RN) license in the
state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Pediatric Advanced Life
Support (PALS) certification preferred
