Major Responsibilities:
- Provides support and guidance to youth and families experiencing crisis.
- Assists in the development of risk management/safety plan.
- Refers youth and families to support services.
- Acts as a bridge between families, agencies and community supports.
- Assures families full involvement in crisis intervention services including team's adherence to "family voice and choice".
- Actively participates in the multi-disciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
- Recognizes and seeks consultations as needed.
- Develop a training plan to enhance ongoing growth.
- Provides consultation and direction to program team in the provision of services that are consistent with "wraparound principles".
- Provides consultation with ESP staff regarding work with youth and families.
- Develops ongoing family support resources.
- Participate in YMCIS evaluation and development of protocols policies and procedures.All responsibilities are essential job functions.II. Position Qualifications:License/Certification/Education:Required:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work.
- Satisfactory CORI background check.
- Driving is not a requirement.Experience:
- One year of psychology, counseling, social work, or related
