Job Description:

An international telecommunications company is seeking a Sales Account Executive to join their team in the Manhattan, NY area. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of sales experience in global data centers, cloud, or IT infrastructure industries for Healthcare/Finance clientele. This is a direct hire, full time position and Onsite work setting.

Sales Account Executive Responsibility:

Locate new business prospects and drive customer acquisitions.
Sell product and services based IT solutions involving complex network accounts planning and management.
Customize solutions to meet industry-specific needs, including compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS, and other relevant standards.
Work with Project Managers and Operations on the pre-sale and post-sale.
Proactively manage day-to-day client needs, reporting progress to Director of Sales, and identifying new business opportunities across the client's full range of operations.
Providing timely and accurate sales forecasting.
Stay up to date on the latest technology initiatives and solutions.
Carrying out consultative selling, account planning and account Management with a strong emphasis on customer service.
Cultivate long-term relationships with C-level executives.
Other duties as assigned



Sales Account Executive Qualifications:

Must have in depth understanding about data center and networking as well as data center business work experience.
Must have knowledge of network security, hybrid cloud, voice over IP and data center solutions
Minimum of 5 years' experience selling data center and networking.
Strong understanding of compliance and operational challenges in financial and healthcare sectors.
Having an established client base in NYC and surrounding area a plus.
Bachelor's degree in technical and business disciplines would be a plus
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Technical aptitude and knowledge is important along with the ability to translate the complexities.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
