Your responsibility includes operating company vehicles to facilitate the transfer of goods between distribution centers, while adhering strictly to safety and traffic regulations. This role plays a pivotal role in our operational efficiency, enabling us to serve our extensive network of clients throughout the foodservice industry. Operate US Foods' vehicles for the delivery of food products between various distribution points. Maintain accurate logs of vehicle usage and delivery schedules in accordance with DOT regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and upkeep of company vehicles. Comply with all company policies, local traffic laws, and regulatory requirements concerning vehicle operation and transportation of goods. Effectively communicate with dispatch and warehouse management teams to ensure smooth unloading and delivery schedules. Handle emergency roadside situations professionally and proactively. Proficient in driving large vehicles Strong navigational and route management skills Excellent time management and punctuality Ability to keep accurate and detailed logs Clear communication and coordination abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Clean driving record DOT medical card
