Job Description:
Marvin is seeking a skilled and passionate In-Home Design
Consultant to join our team and help clients envision and realize
the potential of Marvins custom windows and doors in their homes.
As a consultant with Marvin, where innovation meets tradition in
the craft of window and door manufacturing, you will be traveling
to clients homes to provide expert advice on aesthetic and
practical considerations, deliver personalized solutions, and
maintain the integrity of the design through the sales process.
This role is ideal for someone with a deep appreciation for design,
a strong understanding of construction materials, and a talent for
sales. Travel to client sites to conduct consultations and assess
their window and door needs. Provide expert advice on Marvin’s
product range and customization options, tailored to each client's
specific aesthetic and functional needs. Collaborate with clients
to create drawings or plans that integrate Marvin products into
their homes effectively and tastefully. Follow up with potential
sales leads and maintain relationships with existing customers to
ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Prepare accurate and
detailed quotes and contracts for clients' approval. Coordinate
with the technical team to ensure design specifications are met.
Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to maintain a
competitive edge. Proven expertise in interior design or
architectural design Strong understanding of construction materials
and building standards Excellent negotiation and presentation
skills Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD or similar Medical
Insurance 401k Certification in Interior Design or Architectural
Drafting preferred. Sales certification is a plus.
