This role focuses on providing high-quality nursing care across diverse departments ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. As an LPN at Albany, you will collaborate with an innovative team of healthcare professionals dedicated to improving patient outcomes through clinical excellence and compassionate care. Provide direct patient care to individuals across various specialties, ensuring adherence to all facility protocols and healthcare standards. Monitor and record patient conditions regularly while effectively communicating changes to doctors and registered nurses. Assist with patient assessments and the preparation of care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle choices. Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of nursing care. Strong clinical skills in a range of medical procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with a strong capacity for multi-tasking Ability to work effectively in a team and independently Experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Valid LPN license in the state of New York CPR certified Additional certification in specialty areas (e.g., IV therapy) is preferred but not required
